At just 22 years old, Avery Gagliano has already left an indelible mark on the classical music world. With a talent that belies her age and a passion for music that resonates deeply with audiences, Gagliano has quickly risen to prominence as one of the most exciting young pianists of her generation.

Gagliano's journey to success began at a remarkably young age. Making her debut at Carnegie Hall at the tender age of 20, she immediately captured the attention of critics and audiences alike with her extraordinary skill and emotional depth. Described by International Piano Magazine as a "distinctive young talent," Gagliano possesses a rare ability to infuse her performances with sincerity, passion, and exquisite voicing, captivating listeners with each note she plays.

The pinnacle of Gagliano's early career came with her triumph at the 2020 National Chopin Piano Competition, where she not only claimed the prestigious First Prize but also took home the coveted Best Concerto Prize. Her exceptional talent was further recognized on the international stage when she emerged as the only American semifinalist at the esteemed 18th International Chopin Competition in 2021, solidifying her reputation as a rising star in the world of classical music.

Critics and audiences alike have been effusive in their praise of Gagliano's performances. The New York Classical Review hailed her ability to inhabit the profound emotional landscape of Frédéric Chopin's compositions, while the South Florida Classical Review noted her remarkable balance between technical brilliance and personal interpretation, resulting in performances that are consistently invigorating and expressive.

Gagliano's impressive list of accolades and accomplishments speaks to her extraordinary talent and dedication to her craft. In addition to her successes at the Chopin competitions, she has received numerous awards and honors, including the Audience Prize at the 2019 Cliburn International Junior Piano Competition and victories at the Aspen Music Festival Concerto Competition and MostArts Festival Piano Competition. She is also an alumna of prestigious music academies and programs, including the Verbier Festival & Academy and the Lang Lang International Music Foundation’s Young Scholars Program, further solidifying her status as a rising star in the classical music world.

One of Gagliano's greatest passions is collaborating with other artists, and she is a dedicated chamber musician who regularly shares the stage with ensembles such as the Balourdet Quartet and the Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players in New York. Her commitment to collaboration and exploration has led her to perform at renowned concert halls and festivals around the world, including the Verbier Festival, Carnegie Hall, and the Louis Vuitton Foundation.

In 2021, Gagliano released her debut album, Reflections, on the Steinway & Sons label. Featuring a diverse program ranging from Chopin to Haydn, Schumann, and Adès, the album showcases Gagliano's exceptional talent and her ability to breathe new life into classical masterpieces. Her interpretations of Chopin's works, in particular, have been hailed as revelatory, further cementing her reputation as one of the most exciting young pianists of her generation.
