South Florida’s Jewish Culinary Scene Is Stepping Into The National Spotlight As Miami-Based Chef And Restaurateur Olivia Ostrow Prepares To Compete On The Upcoming Season Of 24 In 24: Last Chef Standing, Premiering On Sunday, April 26th, 2026.

Ostrow, the chef behind Maison Ostrow in North Bay Village, is the only Kosher chef competing in this season’s lineup. The high-intensity competition, hosted by Michael Symon and Esther Choi, challenges 24 chefs to complete 24 culinary tasks over 24 consecutive hours, all vying for a $100,000 prize.

For Ostrow, the opportunity represents a chance to showcase her personality and how Kosher dining has evolved.

At Maison Ostrow, she has built a reputation for redefining expectations around Kosher cuisine, blending French and Mediterranean influences with a modern, elevated approach. The restaurant has quickly become a destination for both observant diners and a broader audience seeking a refined culinary experience without compromise.

Her approach reflects a broader shift within the Jewish food world, where tradition and innovation increasingly coexist. Rather than adhering strictly to classic interpretations, chefs like Ostrow are expanding the boundaries of Kosher dining by introducing global techniques, seasonal ingredients, and design-forward hospitality that resonates with a new generation.

Ostrow’s impact has not gone unnoticed. She was named Best Chef in Miami by Aventura Magazine and included in The Algemeiner’s prestigious J100 list, which recognizes individuals making meaningful contributions to Jewish life around the world.

To celebrate her television debut, Ostrow will host a premiere watch party at Maison Ostrow, inviting guests from across the community to come together for a shared moment of pride. The evening will feature a champagne toast, live entertainment and a live viewing of the episode, offering attendees the chance to experience both her cuisine and her milestone achievement firsthand.

As South Florida continues to thrive as a hub for Jewish culture and cuisine, Ostrow’s national debut underscores the region’s influence and the evolving story of kosher dining today.

Her appearance on 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing is not just a personal milestone but a reflection of a larger movement: one where Jewish chefs are bringing their heritage, creativity, and vision to the forefront of the global culinary stage.
