Our thoughts are with the Town of Surfside. The community's generous support of Surfside during this difficult time is greatly appreciated. In response to the terrible tragedy which struck the Miami community The Shul of Bal Harbour has created a central fund to be dispersed as needed directly to the victims and families.

Greater Miami Jewish Federation

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation has opened an emergency assistance fund for the short- and long-term needs of those in our community affected by the tragic collapse of Champlain Towers South in Surfside, FL during the early morning hours of Thursday, June 24, 2021.

The Federation together with its partners — Jewish Community Services of South Florida (JCS) and Mishkan Miami: The Jewish Connection for Spiritual Support — will be providing financial assistance, chaplaincy support, crisis counseling and social services to people impacted by the tragedy.

State of Florida Governor
Governor DeSantis Launched surfsidestrength.com to provide support for survivors, families and first responders. The Governor announced that federal, state, local, private sector and nonprofit partners have come together to create surfsidestrength.com, an emotional support and assistance platform for survivors, families, first responders and those affected by the tragedy in Surfside to receive much-needed support to persevere.
