New COVID-19 Test Sites: No Insurance Or Appointment Required

A few new COVID-19 test sites opened on Wednesday, August 4th, in response to the latest rise in COVID-19 cases, including the Delta Variant, which is increasing, the demand for testing. Tests are available for both vaccinated and unvaccinated residents.

​In addition to the test collection site locations, listed at Broward.org/Coronavirus, a number of retail pharmacies, including CVS and Walgreen's, offer COVID-19 testing, as well as private health companies and community health centers. Many retail and online outlets, offer a variety of in-home test collection kits for purchase. If you are homebound and cannot leave your home, to access one of the public test collection sites, please call DOH-Broward at: 954-412-7300 for information and in-home test appointments.

Free PCR oropharyngeal (throat swab) testing is available for adults and children, with or without symptoms, regardless of age, at these sites. Results for PCR tests will be available from the Florida Department of Health In Broward, in 24 to 72 hours.
