Teacher Planning Day Programs

Wondering what to do when school is out? Register for one of Aventura’s many programs during school breaks including teacher planning days.

When school is not in session due to teacher planning days, the City offers children ages 5-12 a day-camp filled with a variety of enrichment activities such as sports, health & wellness programs, games, arts & crafts, project-based learning, and recreational activities.

• School’s Out, Fun’s In on Thursday, June 9th, 2022
• Ready, Set, Summer on Friday, June 10th, 2022

The programs are from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Community Recreation Center, 3375 Northeast 188th Street, Aventura, Florida 33180. The program fee for each day includes all activities, supplies, and lunch at a rate of $43 for Aventura residents and $52 for non-Aventura residents. The next two teacher planning day events are: School’s Out, Fun’s In on Thursday, June 9th, 2022 and Ready, Set, Summer on Friday, June 10th, 2022.
