Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders: 2024 City of Sunny Isles Beach College Scholarship Program

For the young scholars yearning to pursue their dreams of higher education, the City of Sunny Isles Beach offers a series of scholarships that celebrate academic excellence, community service, artistic flair, and athletic prowess. Chief Fred A. Maas College Scholarship for Athletic Accomplishment: Awarded to a high school senior who embodies the spirit of athleticism, this scholarship honors dedication and accomplishment in the sporting arena.

The Application Process
Eligibility for these scholarships mandates a residency of at least one year in Sunny Isles Beach before January 1, 2024. Additionally, applicants must be graduating seniors enrolled in either public or accredited private schools. A minimum of 100 hours of community service, preferably within Sunny Isles Beach, is also a prerequisite.

The application deadline is Tuesday, February 20, 2024, by 5 PM. It's imperative that all submissions are completed and comprehensive, including a 200-300 word essay based on the designated topic. For those pursuing the Service Scholarships, a demonstration of community involvement is key, showcasing their commitment to making a difference.
